These Terms of Service govern your use of the QuizLoaded website, mobile app, and services. By creating an account, accessing the platform, or entering a tournament, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use QuizLoaded. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, resident in Nigeria, and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts. Cash tournaments are only available to eligible users. We may verify your age, identity, and location at any time.

3. Account rules

• Provide accurate and complete information.
• You may only maintain one account.
• Keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized use.

4. Free trivia

Free trivia is available for practice and entertainment. Free-mode scores, badges, and XP do not carry cash value and do not affect tournament results.

5. Tournament rules

• Entry: Each daily tournament has a ₦500 entry fee. Entries must be submitted before the published lock-in time, which is a few minutes before the tournament starts. Entries are non-refundable once submitted.
• Format: All paying players receive the same set of timed questions.
• Scoring: Points are awarded for correct answers. Ties are broken by the fastest completion time.
• Prize pool: The prize pool is made up of entry fees. The top 10 finishers share 80% of the pool according to the published prize distribution. QuizLoaded retains 20% as a platform fee.
• Settlement: Winnings are credited to the winner's wallet after results are confirmed.

6. Deposits and withdrawals

Deposits and withdrawals are processed through Paystack. Withdrawals may be subject to a platform fee plus any third-party processing fees. We may require identity verification before processing withdrawals. Payout times depend on Paystack and your bank.

7. Prohibited conduct

You may not use bots, scripts, multiple accounts, collusion, or any unfair means. You may not exploit bugs, reverse engineer the app, harass other users, or use the platform for unlawful purposes. Violations may result in account suspension, forfeiture of balances, and disqualification from prizes.

8. Intellectual property

QuizLoaded, its logo, content, and software are owned by QuizLoaded or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

QuizLoaded provides a skill-based trivia platform. We do not guarantee winnings. Tournament outcomes depend on your performance relative to other players. We are not liable for losses caused by third-party payment failures, network issues, or your own errors.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the account relationship. You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, fraud, or legal reasons.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in Nigerian courts or through mutually agreed alternative dispute resolution.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated in advance. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
